Office Hours

The Office of International Students and Scholars is located at 104 Holcombe Hall, on Garland Avenue between Maple and Douglas. Click HERE for a map of our office location.

The office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office operates all year (academic year and summer) and closes on all University holidays.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT PARKING:
Please allow extra time to arrive for appointments since there are only two metered parking spaces available in the lot at the side of Holcombe (at the corner of Garland and Douglas). The nearest available alternate parking is in the metered parking lot between Silas Hunt Hall and the Administration Building (on Maple Street). DO NOT park in the University House parking lot behind Holcombe Hall! This lot is reserved on a 24-hour basis, and you may be ticketed and/or towed.

MAKING AN APPOINTMENT:
If you would like to make an appointment to meet with Michael Freeman, Audra Johnston, or Nick Cogan please use our online system (recommended) or call the office at 575-5003. Immigration advising appointments are available between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.  To schedule an appointment with Cynthia Smith or Veronikha Salazar, please call our front desk at 575-5003.  Appointment hours for the programming staff vary. 

If you have a question of a brief, general nature, you are invited to use our online advising service. Between 12:00 (noon) and 1:00 p.m. and again from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on most days the office is open, you may "chat" with an advisor by clicking on "Chat With ISS Staff" in the left menu or the live support icon at the lower left of each page.

If you have a question that does not require a personal visit to the office, or you are not able to come in person, you are always welcome to contact us by phone, e-mail, or chat, or refer to the information available on our site.
